Our History
In September, 1954 a small group of woman, led by Miss Dorothy Neyhart, met in the Fauquier National Bank Building to organize the Women’s Auxiliary of Fauquier Hospital with an objective of assisting the hospital in becoming the best health care facility possible. Immediately, and for the next fifty years, the challenge of recruiting new members began.
For 38 years the Lights For Life Celebration has ushered in the holiday session and this year Fauquier Community Enrichment Alliance, Inc., we will do the same. When Fauquier Hospital became a for-profit institution in 2013, the Fauquier Hospital Auxiliary, Inc. wanted to remain a nonprofit. Fauquier Hospital Auxiliary, Inc. is currently transitioning to its new entity, Fauquier Community Enrichment Alliance, Inc., which will be officially unveiled early in 2024.
